SOLVE
Sustainable COVID-19 Vaccination for long-term vaccine immunity and effectiveness
SOLVE is a consortium funded by the EU Horizon Europe program with its overarching goal to decipher the mechanisms of induction of long-lasting immunity through a head-to-head comparison of vaccine platforms and to bring new vaccine concepts.
Its main objectives are:
- Identify factors influencing the magnitude, breath, and duration of vaccine-induced immune responses to Sarbecovirus antigens
- Evaluate and compare the potency, breadth and durability of vaccines-induced immunity of new experimental vaccines vs authorized vaccines
- Characterize factors influencing vaccine effectiveness
- Develop novel approaches for the next generation of pan-Sarbecovirus vaccines.
The project is coordinated by Institute National de la Santé et de la Recherche Médicale (INSERM). EVF mainly contribute to second objective, the conduct of experimental medicine trial.
